Saturday 10th of June 2023, inside the international Conference SPIRITUALITY & SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE – ROME-ASSISI June 4-11, 2023- I give a speech about POETRY AS AN ACTIVE MEDITATION. The definition of “poetry as an active meditation” is by the Nobel Prize recipient Tomas Tranströmer. The talk will explore different declinations of this theme, linking writing and reading aloud of poetry, breathing, prayer, mantra, and meditation practices. How can the poet act as a “corps conducteur” (Nathalie Sarraute) that connects memories, celebration of “moments of being” (V.Woof) , and transformative energies?
